Welcome to the twenty sixth week of the 52 weeks of Christmas!!! What is the 52 weeks of Christmas you might ask? I will be giving away a new game each week for 52 week. To make things more fun, I will be asking a new question each week also. I hope that by doing this I may brighten someones week. I even create a group on Steam where you can follow every giveaway(link at the bottom).I hope you will have as much fun as I do with this.
If you own one of the games in the pack you will receive the other only.
New Week, New Questions
Q1:1. The newest update of Steam changed the way we access the different pages available on the service. New drop down sub menus make it faster to access exactly which part of the client you want to go. Which features would you like Valve to add on Steam? Would you be keen to Steam having the features of the add-on enhancedSteam? What about some sort of parental control or gameplay limit?
Thanks to ɹǝʞıɹʇs for the question.
Q2:2. “Early Access Game” is a feature that has been added to Steam this week. What do you guys think about it?
You don't have to answer both.
Response
God bless. :)

a1: a simple 'clear shopping cart' to remove all games in it in a single click.. and a better system to manage downloads, maybe directly from ingame overlay

I agree with ThePonz

+1 and would be nice if the wishlist would work the same way. Add a simple list view w/o game icons for easier organizing.

1: "Hide this game". After I beat a game, I don't want to have to stare at it in my library (especially the linear single-playthrough type games). Of course there'd have to be a "view hidden games" option somewhere too, but basically I just want better tools for organizing my library overall.

Guess I'll have to find this addon and see what it's about.

it's basically like SteamGiftsPlus Enhanced but for Steampowered.com

Just installed it. It does a few nice things, nothing too great. I personally have all the functionality I need. Some people might want a few things, like a download manager which can prioritize and preferably not kill my CPU in the process. The ability to add more than one item at a time to the cart would be handy. Want to buy 10 Fortix? Maybe a comment preview in the community.
Didn't we already have games like this before? If so it's just a separate category to better organize, nothing wrong in that. My only question is why isn't WarZ in there? Now we only need a kickstarter themed section.

2.Actually I don't really need it, I can wait till the final release!

For question 2:
I think it's a great addition for the developers to be able to have beta testers (alpha is way too early to be on Steam, in my opinion) and get good feedback from the customers as to different bugs or issues with the game that can be fixed before actual release. It's another tool to assist with making sure that a fully released game has as few of bugs as possible.
From a customer standpoint, it's both good and bad. Good because you can get the game sooner, help out with it or just enjoy playing it. More time to learn the game and, especially in competitive games, learn the best way to go about it. But bad because some of those promises for full release might not be fulfilled before the game gets to that point and then you have a game that you paid early access for that you might not enjoy much because of an unfulfilled promise.

A1: It doesn't really do much. The whole interface is actually rather poor and needs to be streamlined and rethought. I'm not talking about skins, but structure.

Re question 2: I love it. It lets gamers try out a title long before it's finished, and gives devs a way to get feedback so they can better polish their game. Right now Drunken Robot Pornography is early access, and I'll probably be buying it once I get enough money to. I loved playing it during the bit of alpha time that I had.
Of course this only works if devs are honest about what you'll be getting.
Thanks for a chance to win this awesome game, and happy Easter to you too.

While I personally think pre-paying for games is a bad idea, I believe consumers have the right to make their own decision in the matter.
Some people say that pre-ordering is an "investment" in the game. I would say it's more like a gamble than an investment. People who invest in a company or product have some say in how the business pursues the goal of a successful product. Also, an investor takes on the risk with both possible gain and possible loss as an outcome. The guy who pre-orders a game does so without any say in production, nor does he gain anything if the game is a success. In short, pre-ordering a game incurs all of the risk without any of the reward, and is therefore just plain dumb.
"Well, I'm going to buy the game anyway, whether or not it is decent, so I may as well pay ahead of time." All I can say in response to that is, "May God fix your brain." Seriously, it's because people are willing to pay full price for a crappy product that businesses are able to sell crappy products.
