as you said, they don't make games like this anymore. Dirt 2 was fun but maybe too repetetive.
NFS? the last one in which I played was Shift 1 and 2, awful games.

Agreed... But still best part if the series was ToCA Race Driver 3 :). Or ToCA 2 (but not Race Driver, original one from around 1999.
