Yeah that seems to be a fair description. Heard a lot about how the game doesnt feel like it made any improvements from the original two and suffers from worse performance. Not sure if that was ever patched or not. The biggest thing that irked me was the whole story bit and the idea that "Shenmue IV is guaranteed"

My complaint is that it simply feels out of touch with the older games, if that makes sense. You can clearly tell that the devs put all their heart into 1+2 and it's simply missing in the third installment.
