Road to level 3... I was already level 3 a week ago. then all of a sudden back to level 2 just 3 days ago.... what??? (so does this mean if u were level 999999 you can go back to level 0 anytime??
It's not random, it has to do with how games are bundled and added to the bundle list. No, you cannot go from level 10 to level 0 in one fell swoop, but CV levels do often fluctuate. For more info, read the FAQ:)
As game prices change your level gets affected retroactively. It's a bit peculiar as a system, when a game gets bundled you don't lose the full points you got, had you given it before it was bundled (assuming you gave it prior to the bundle date). However lets say you gave away a game worth 50$ 6 months ago and now the price of the game falls to 30 (not as a sale discount), then your cv value will be hit as those two games you gave 6 months ago will now be worth 30 rather than the price that was in effect back when you gave the game away.
