I'd love to play the game myself, but recently my motion sickness in first person games has gotten worse..

Motion sickness suucks. I have a difficult time with lot of older console FPSs, 'cause they don't allow you to change the FOV. A lower FOV makes me kinda sick to my stomach. 😩
Speaking of motion sickness, I found this article to be rather interesting.

yeah that makes sense.. I just wish more games offered an option for a third person mode, but for some it just doesn't make sense gameplay wise
the only game I can still play in first person is Minecraft 😅
for other games I'm already getting sick while trying to find the sweet spot with the FOV and then I lose patience pretty quick

Same. I know the newer Fallout and Elder Scrolls games have that option, which is nice. That's how I played my Xbox 360 copy of Oblivion a lot of the time. Unfortunately, most game devs don't see that option as important, and would rather skip over it instead of putting in the effort to make their games accessible. It shouldn't have to be something that's modded into games.

I'm so glad that 7 Days to Die has a third person option.. even though it's a bit janky, that's the only way I can enjoy the game and I LOVE the game 😁
now that reminds me of the time I was looking for a way to play Supraland in third person, because I really enjoyed the game for the couple hours I could play it (with many breaks in between). In a forum post the developer stated that he doesn't want people to play the game in 3rd person because that's not how it was intended.. as if that's such a big difference gameplaywise 😒

I'm really sorry to hear. I really hope you're able to overcome it somehow.

Sorry to hear that. I hope that it isn't a symptom of something worse? :(

no fortunately not.. it's just in concern to playing first person games 😅
but kinda sad that I'm missing out on many great titles because of that

That's good, at least. It does stink that you aren't able to play certain games because of it, however. :(
Some games give an option to remove head-bob, so you'd be able to play those ones, wouldn't you?,

I'm not sure the head bobbing is the issue.. but haven't really tried changing that when I was playing any first person games
I was mostly playing around with the FOV controller, and in some games that helped a bit, but most of the time I'm getting sick after playing for half an hour or even less depending on that setting

Thanks for sharing this with me :)
