As for a Visual Novel, my favorite would be the Jisei series by sakevisual. The first episode, Jisei, was my first VN so it now has a special place in my heart.

Can't say I have a favorite anime, but I do have a list with scores on them. Kara no Kyoukai is among those I prefer.
Here is the site I use with my profile MyAnimeList. The manga list is barbones, I just started filling it with thse mangas I completely read / reread.
