We wake up in unlabeled forest north from Mysterious Land. Faint memories of last days are fading in our minds. What were we doing all these time? What thing did control us? The only strong imprint we have is gratitude for done labor.
We turn round to look at that strange place, but something is still remaining in our heads and we can't make a single step in the direction. We can watch though. Several huge things are slowly blasting off and vertically flying into the sky. It takes hours until all of them are gone, but we still can't move south. We should organize another expedition to this place when our quest is over. If we survive.
Looks like those creatures who controlled us didn't even bother to take away all the complicated equipment we were given to do our work. Most of it we can't find any use for (we will study it more when we're back home), but some things might help during our journey. Like this glowing instrument which can cut a hundred year tree with an easy wave of the hand. Is it made of light?!
Now we need to decide where to move next... Going to Unknown Lands is too risky and meaningless -- there's no guarantee we will survive this time against other creatures which surely do live there. Other two directions look more promising. Those spiders or desert? It's not obvious what is worse.
