Words cannot describe the love I have for this game. One of the first games I've played as a kid with my dad. Nothing compares to those days. If you win it, please at least play a match or two :)
Yeah, AoE is great. Maybe not as polished as the sequel, but I have soft spot for it in my heart :) Probably because back in the day I played the demo version (Hittite campaign) over and over again :)
I never actually played this one, but Age of Empires 2 gave me some of my best childhood gaming memories.
I remember studying the manual and the laminated pull-out upgrade tree thinking it would give me an edge, but alas I was total garbage, as I'm sure many of us were at RTS games as children.
itunes found the the AOE 2 audio files and added them to the library. lsitening to music and out of the blue WOOOD PLEASE!!!. or ALL HAIL KING OF THE LOSERS
