Happy Pi Day and beware the Ides of March!
What is the best game you've started playing in 2016?
For me, I will definitely have to say The Wolf Among Us, Bigby Wolf is GAR AF.

2016? Hmm. Going to have to say Stardew Valley. No joke. :D

yeah, just watching my friend's list this past month that seems to be one of the most popular games right now

The Division.

Street Fighter V I guess. It's lacking a ton of side features that really should have been there at launch, but if you just enjoy fighting games, it's Capcom's best in quite a while.

X-com2. I love that franchise xD

I'd probably have to say Disgaea; I've played it before but I think it's the only game I've only started playing in 2016. :)

So far right now I would say on new games the Division. Really been loving the game. On older stuff I just started Assassin's Creed 3 finally and I vegged out on it and almost beat half the game in one sitting. lol. I haven't really done the little side quests and stuff and not sure if I will. Really just want to get through the story and get caught up with the series.

I know the feeling. I have the same goal but I've only beat the very first Prince of Persia game (well, the first one that's on Steam), so I have another four of those to go through before I can start touching Assassin's Creed :P

"Blood and Bacon" is the most fun I've had for $1 in a good while.

Disgaea. It's my first time playing any of the series, and it's basically all I've played since it came out

I wish I had Stardew so I could say that, but probably Critter Crunch. It's not new, but I just got it so I could play with my sister before she goes back to college.

I loved Critter Crunch! I've played quite a bit, the survival co-op is pretty fun :)

Stardew Valley, followed closely by The Division.

Layers of Fear was pretty good. Utopia 9 is good fun in short bursts too. But I'm always gonna come back to Binding of Isaac in the end :)

I started playing Cally's Caves 3 a little while ago (won it off this site) and I am really enjoying it. It's scratching my Metroidvania itch nicely.

Either Rise of the Tomb Raider or The Division. Thank you for the giveaway.

First thank you!
The best game I started playing 2016? Hmm I think thats Trails of Cold Steel on my Vita TV. :3

Hmm... Door Kickers, Legend of Korra, Spintires, Concrete Jungle, and The Talos Principle are probably my tops so far. If I had to choose one, probably The Talos Principle.
Talos = first-person character logic puzzles galore with an interesting backstory that keeps you intrigued and thinking about... things.
Door Kickers = simple but involved strategic infiltration missions with planning and/or real-time aspects that blend well together.
Legend of Korra = quick beat-em' up that seems to actually let you get more powerful as the game progresses. Controller recommended. Beat it in a weekend though, on the Normal difficulty.
Spintires = just driving through the muds and waters of Russian woodlands. Not a complete "game", but everything that is in there is done very well. (Started playing before the recent "bug", and it's since been patched, so that hasn't affected me at all.)
Concrete Jungle = Kickstarted this one back when I still had money and glad that I did. It's much more of a strategic Tetris than a city builder, but there's a lot of depth (unfortunately there are a few cases where you'll just have to learn from mistakes you didn't know you'd be making), the gameplay is solid, the AI is smart, the graphics are nice, and the full voicework for the myriad characters, each with well done personalities, was a really nice surprise.

I agree The Talos Principle is awesome.

Like others - Stardew Valley :) Super fun, especially if you're a fan of Harvest Moon
Non-steam I'd say Fire Emblem: Fates
