heads up this doesnt work on windows 7 if you have entered and have windows 7 leave i allready have this and found out the hard way by getting ti when it was on sale.

While it's not officially supported, it does work, though you need a workaround if you have an i7 processor (see here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=12357865&postcount=5). If you use a 64bit version of Windows, it doesn't work because it needs a 32bit directx 9 dll, here's how to fix that: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=15629388&postcount=12

Have you tried compatibility mode, and/or running the game as administrator in addition to these workarounds?
