Don't you just hate stubborn people? No, I don't mean the kind who keep on entering every Fortix giveaway until they finally win one. I mean those effin' a-holes who refuse to show any common courtesy, disregard the official road traffic regulations and don't slow down for a car on the acceleration lane, literally forcing them off the road and making them hit a pole, which results in a slashed front tire, damaged bumper and torn off side mirror cover... and then drive off like nothing happened. Yeah, those kind of stubborn people. I hate them. Especially the one who did just that to me yesterday.
What does this have to do with this giveaway? Nothing at all. I just felt like ranting. Enjoy this leftover key from some bundle, and good luck everybody!
Except when you're Portuguese. Then you can go suck on a nut for all I care and I will refuse to send it to you. Seriously, eff you, you arrogant pieces of <censored>...

The number of Brazzies here in Luxembourg is rather limited, so you'll be fine if you are one. :P

This is the most awesome contest intro I've read! Sorry to hear about what happened, and hopefully all is better. Either way, thank you for the offer!

Thanks, and yes, all is fine. Nothing happened to me, and my car is fully insured. However, my premium will go up now because of this. :(

Man, that sucks. I really hate people like that, they might be going slow, but at the second they see you're trying to get past them they will accelerate just enough to block you. Damn them! And thanks for the giveaway

Indeed. It would have taken him just a moment to hit the brakes and slow down a bit, as there wasn't even a car behind him... but no, he had to be a thick-headed ox and risk my life for... what? Prove a point? Macho pride? Who knows...

LOL! You sound like my dad! Was it the usual Red Toyota/Honda? Gotta have the red car!

No, it was a white company van, but without any signs on the back. Wasn't able to read and remember the licence plate either because I was too busy keeping the car under control...

Sorry to hear what happened to you. :(
Things are rather like that where I live, Thailand.
Every douchebag with a car believes that they have the right to drive any damn way they want.
It's only because my wife has insanely fast reactions and is an amazing driver that we haven't had a serious accident at this point. (We fairly often drive long distance, her family is a 12 hour drive away)
The stupidest thing that ever happened was that we had driven to the northernmost city in Thailand to renew my Visa, and we were stressing because we hadn't eaten and my wife had to get back to work.
We are at a stop light and there's a truck parked behind us. (As in, standing completely still) Suddenly there's a big bump that shakes our car, somehow the parked truck had managed to ram the rear of our car.
We weren't in a very good mood a few hours later after the police and insurance agent had arrived and taken assessment and we finally got home. ^__^
Thank you for the space trading game giveaway. ^___^

At times it makes you wish your car would be outfitted with machine guns and rocket launchers, huh? ^^

Sorry to hear that your car is damaged and I'm glad that you are okay, but in Germany you would be the douche because if you are on the acceleration lane you have to give way to all other traffic.
You wouldn't stop on a green light to give way to the others who have currently red, right?
And at the end thank you very much for your giveaway!

Really? Didn't know that. Things are different here because an acceleration lane is, after all, there to accelerate and get up to speed for the main road. If you think about it, it'd be much more dangerous if I had to break at the end of the lane because then I'd be much slower and following traffic would have to slow down immediately. This wasn't a 3-lane highway, it was a 1-lane speedway, so that might be the difference. On a 2 or 3-lane highway, cars on the main road are obliged to switch to the middle/left lane if a car on the acceleration lane tries to get on.

Well shit - hopefully you get plenty of money from insurance company - use most of the leftover money and invest in sharemarket and buy 100+ fortix games for giveaway (LOL).

Unfortunately, that's not how it works here. My insurance will pay for the repairs, and that's it. There won't be any extra money. ^^

Sounds like you met a real asshole. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you get full insurance coverage, and I hope they find some way to track the guy down too.

Thanks, and yes, I'm luckily fully insured. However, because I could only remember part of the licence plate (and most of all because it was on a Friday afternoon and the cop in the local office couldn't really be bothered to check for more than 2 variations), I was told that they can't (or rather don't want to) do anything, as it would at the mots be a "charge against person unknown"... -.-
In the end, my car will be fixed, and I'll end up with higher premiums for the next few years... oh well...
