If I'm not mistaken, Forged Battalion is in early access so it'll still be getting a bunch of updates. Don't stress if you decide not to play it straight away, early access titles can be a bit temperamental after all.
You are very correct, but I've been seeking a new RTS for some time that wasn't some deep level 4x thing with micromanaged planetary economies and political alliances and blah blah blah I wanna focus more on the combat lol
This looks a lot like what I'd want for my ideal RTS; enough complexity to keep it interesting without being a horrific grind.
