Sure SG doesn't allow the download link URL from Humble but what is to stop a person selecting GIFT and then just messaging the person the download link?
I'm not entering myself (not interested in the game) but I am instead standing up for someone who did pose a good question only to be mocked for it.
The giveaway comment has been changed to show it is a Steam key now but Cracktus was right to ask for verification.
I know people who have simply blacklisted people posting these things simply assuming it's from a freebie, or harass them and others in comment sections.
For the record, I didn't accuse anyone of anything, nor did I insinuate anything to be wrong with the giveaway. It is true that I asked to make sure it wasn't the free download, but it certainly wasn't to downplay Jin3b8's generous giveaway.

Given Humble is offering a DRM free version (direct download, no Steam), Cracktus has every right to ask and double check.
