I have started my YouTube channel few days ago and at the moment I am trying to finish "Kingdom Rush Frontiers". Kingdom Rush is a great tower defense. If you are not familiar with the game, you can find my review here for more details or just watch some gameplay videos in my channel;)
I focus on pure gameplay videos without any comentaries based on RPG's, Tower Defense and/or building/simulator games. I would be really happy if you subscribe to my channel and give my videos a like (or two);)
And maybe you will find a game you like and enjoy to watch.

I'm not a big fan of space games either, but I had a lot of fun with Space Run. Actually we had a space themed month in the backlog group I'm in, otherwise I wouldn't have touched it.
There's a lot of micromanaging your cannons, guns and shields during missions. That's what I liked most about it, the humor too.

I had it on my wishlist for a long time and then I managed to trade for it. I haven't played it yet, but I'm downloading it cause you opened up my appetite for a tower defense :) Also, Bardbarian, Prime World: Defenders and GemCraft - Chasing Shadows seem fun and I heard good things about them, but I haven't played them yet.

I am sure you will enjoy Kingdom Rush:) Bardbarian you should try out. It is not really a Tower Defense but i had a lot of fun playing it:) The other two i own but have to try them out too. If you didnt play Defender's Quest:Valley of the Forgotten you should take a look. I just started it again to make some videos about it, but it is a well made tower defense with some story and rpg elements.

I only play games on pc so i can`t tell you the difference. But there are no microtransactions in the steam version:) Some levels/heroes are missing but they will be added in September/Oktober/November for free:)
