Is capturing beasts ethical?

Yes
Often stray animals threaten the lives and health of people (I know of cases where wild hungry dogs killed children and even adults). But I think that in each specific case a decision should be made, assessing all the factors.
This is a very big topic and I don't think it's worth talking about it much in the comments here (this is a topic for an essay or an article, but not for a comment here)
P.S: This not WW key. Most likely this is https://steamdb.info/sub/863943/ or another regional package

Um, I'll just pretend like that's a serious question and you're asking about real-live animals, like StarPONY seems to have assumed.

Yeah, sure.
I'd feel a lot more at ease if the stray cats I try to take care of (to the best of my... limited abilities) were being cared for in the significantly more enclosed but also a lot more safe space of an apartment. It's a horrible friggin' world of suffering and death out there. Even if the people taking care of them don't entirely know what they're doing, it's still much better than those cats starving, freezing, dehydrating, getting hit by cars, getting torn apart by stray dogs, getting poisoned or crippled by malicious people, getting hurt by other cats and just generally being constantly terrified and on edge because just about everything is capable of hurting them.
People tend to think that "captured" means "dogs in little cages" while "free" means "all animals are happy and peaceful and there's a rainbow" but the reality is that living is not a given and everything is competing with everything else to keep living while also under constant selection pressure from the environment. Animals "living happily" is always on the back of many many many others not... Hahaha, life is terrible. :D

Ahem... where was I going with this? Um, right, thank you for the giveaway.

Capturing by injuring? Befriending and giving a home? Kind of vague... (Cheers for the giveaway)
