Far Cry Primal Question

Has anyone had any issues with the first taming quest? The white wolf simply won't let me tame him even though that's my current quest. I toss him the meat, I sneak up on him and I hold down the prompted key... but he refuses to be tamed. I've watched a bunch of videos of people doing the exact thing I do and having no issues... yet here I am unable to tame my first pet. I rage killed him like 20 times already. What am I missing? orz Google also didn't help with any know or reported bugs regarding the situation so I'm absolutely lost.

I only played it on PS4 and it worked fine there.

Since its the first quest (I'm assuming? I never played the game) you should just restart the whole game, delete the save file and everything.

I think I had bit of issues with taming, sometimes t wouldn't regonize pressing key. Changin position would help (uPlay-version).
