Changing avatar to your steam profile

Does anyone know how can I change the avatar on my steamgifts/steamtrades profile? I thought that if I change it on steam it will sync with this profile too, but it didn't work.(tried to sync)

It simply takes a few hours before Steam sends out the correct image link to other sites.
