Pokholodneniye is 2k16s hottest word.
Resident Evil: Pokholodneniye
Dead Rising Pokholodneniye
Mutant Pokholodneniye
Let the pokholodneniye begin!

Maybe it's kind of a spiritual successor to Zero Wing as the title suggests. You shipwrecked with your Zig while fighting for Great Justice, and you are stranded on a frozen planet. You need to find all your base and make them belong to you again. Then the final boss Pokholodneniye set up us the bomb and you need to defuse it.

I still can't help but giggle at that, every single time..

Not quite what this thread is about, but it's very English, and kind of horrible, in a good way.

lol, thank you for mentioning the All your base meme
I know this quote for a long time, but not from Zero Wing, but from Earth 2150, it was a cheat code. I don't know what it did (probably something near the original meaning of the phrase), because probably I have never used it ;P
I remember it only because it was ... well, so broken ;)

I mean, who in their right mind decides to write "Sheng Long" when the correct English is "Dragon Fist" ?
To name just one more infamous example....

Instead of unintentionally terribad translation, I highly recommend intentionally terribad 'translation'! :P
Yeah, it's not really a "translation" per se...but it's intentionally a homage to the old Japanese titles with glorious translations...so much that someone actually complained about it...I thought it was brilliant! ;)
ETA: Red Lake's storepage also comes to mind

Visual novels, all of them -_- Phoenix Drive (NSFW) is a fucking classic. There's less straight-up machine translated Japanese nowadays, but too many English developers releasing games that are entirely based on reading that look like they were proofread by a drunken turtle.

I was checking out the " soon to be released" titles on Steam when I noticed Under Zero.
Holy crap, did they really translate their game description using Google Translate? Sure looks like it.....
Another game I played not long ago... Morphine. Ok horror game, lol translation. Check these screenshots I made ( Hays, nice, more hays )
I cant imagine what these devs are thinking. Lets put hundreds if not thousands of hours into creating a game and then totally killing it by not using a proper translator.
My English isnt the best, but I would hire or ask someone to check what I wrote.
Never heard of the All your base are belong to us meme? Here you go.
I'd like to read about your experiences ;)
