yes I know but doesn't the rules say giveaways or puzzles that look like begging threads aren't allowed?

yea, that's what I thought too. I thought the rule was "anything that looks like a begging thread will be treated as an actual begging thread". Could be up to interpretation though.

Maybe? Not sure, but if I was a mod I would look the other way since he is being nice and giving something away, kinda like how many laws in society are in place but aren't enforced.

Of course, we can just wait and see what a mod has to say about it.
