I noticed that there are quite a number of sellers on steamtrades such as this, this and this, that sell BTA Humble Bundles for just 1 or 2 TF2 keys.

The weekly bundles' BTA are $6 and the current humble bundle with android 7's BTA is greater than $6, so selling them for 2 TF2 keys is selling them at a loss. I'm just wondering how they do this, especially since these aren't one-of sellers but traders with a constant supply and a lot of customers. Could they have found an exploit on the Humble website, perhaps?

It's still against Humble Bundle ToS... I know no one ever pays attention to that crap, but it seems wrong because it's for charity... eh, whatever. No idea how they do it without going bankrupt though

It's not against the ToS to do that,it's against the ToS to give game-keys from your claimed bundle.

Trading/selling Humble Bundle? Yes, it is.

The charity still gets money. They just buy the bundle, the money goes to charity and trade them to people who can't buy those bundles.

Prepaid Steamcards, or by using Paysafe Cards.

How were you thinking they would pay with a paysafe card? You can't make paysafe cards into paypal... And prepaid "steamcards"? You can't buy bunles with stema wallet, i don't quite get you

You can buy TF2/Dota 2 keys with wallet, and they are considered general currency for trading.

You've been on this forum for quite a while now...you should know to use the search option before starting a thread exactly like others...

edit: nvm

But i don't know honestly.. i doubt there's an exploit, maybe some people can't buy TF keys for some reason? and this is a way to get their hands on them through other channels

I don't want to go into it too much here because I don't want to spread the word (though more people seem to be figuring it out on their own every day just like I did) but there are plenty of ways to profit from buying and selling TF2, CSGO and DotA items that are completely legitimate and very easy.

Yeah, that's not the reason. Just saying.

I guess its online money laundering.. BTA is fixed at 6$, if you pay less its something illegal. Point!

I have heard some Russian keys on resale sites are sold below cost because they originate from stolen credit cards.

I think it's just some kind of bitcoin bussiness, they probably somehow getting them for free and buying the BTA bundles. Don't know how.

2 of those links you provided are from the same guy and he is going through the wringer right now in another thread for a bad deal.

Most legit bundle sellers charge more than that. Frankly, if I dont buy the bundle myself I go with 1 or 2 people I always deal with that have a clear profit margin. Non-BTA for 1 key is pure profit really, but you can find a few that will do a non-BTA for 4 ref which is very fair IMO. 3 keys for BTA is also profiting, but not by a whole lot depending on the bundle.

The guys selling it for 2 keys (BTA) are few and far between and my guess is something could be up. You're assuming this kind of thing is widespread, but its not at all. I think you're reading into it a bit much as its more often the opposite of what you're asking. Most are definitely profiting from selling BTA bundles for keys and ask for more than 2. You're picking out very isolated cases.

It's actually pretty widespread. If you look at the first link Hageshisa provided, the OP was asking how to obtain the bundles so cheap. A couple of days later, he created his own steamtrades thread selling for BTA bundles for 2 keys. I can find multiple other people selling for very cheap as well.

I was gonna get the non-bta hothead for 1 key (i'm without credit card right now, so all i have is spare steam wallet), but the trader account seems too new for me.
