Hehe, right !
Also, STALKER games on higher difficulty modes, or with hardcore mods.

Haha, yes, they have, and great ones by the way. Try Stalker complete for instance. There are others out there but Stalker complete is maybe the best.

It's not. Is it ? Feel free to suggest something, I'd be glad to try something new.

Depends which game you want to play.
For Shadow of Chernobyl I highly suggest Autumn Aurora 2.
For Clear Sky I would wait for the release of Ghost Land.
For Call of Pripyat I would suggest Misery 2.0.

It's pretty good, but I just can't seem to ever beat it. Does anyone know if there are mods for this game yet?

AI would need to be greatly improved too ... I wonder when the developper will do an update :P

Even if there is a dev, I assume the game is abandonware now, there will be no update. Hopefully he will release the source code so that talented modders will improve it.

If you don't mind old graphics I recommend Stranded (very old) and Stranded II. Both free indie games from strandedonline.de.

At the moment yes, but that was just a throw in during alpha. the devs have said that they'll probably delete those and put in something else, as they feel like having zombies in rust won't make sense. I think they're gonna go for something a bit more mutant like, looking at all the radiation stuff

The Sims 3 - vampires, aliens, sex in an elevator and the ability to piss yourself.

Dwarf Fortress Adventurer mod - But you wont like it its extremely complex there are endless features and possibilities, i never had the same experience playing it. but its quite hard to master it, Youll need a texture pack and its still kinda pixilish - you have an event log, its a free game and frequently updated.

I'd not recommend Infestation: Survival Stories aka WarZ unless you really enjoy playing with 10 year old russian kids (atleast that's how it's like on twitch, most people who streams are just russian kids ^^).
I can't really say anything about Nether, but looks kinda cool.
Rust and DayZ is both early access and is quite limited. DayZ will be more fun when they add vehicles and more guns and such, but for now it's kinda boring. You run, gear up, and then what? I always end up getting a ton of food, water, ammo, full camo clothes and a fully modded weapon, and then i don't know what to do. I just end up running around between north west and north east airfield, just waiting to finally get in a gunfight (which the opponent usually just combatlog out of).
Rust is kind of a grind, it takes a lot of time to make a cool, secure house, but it's really satisfying to see how the house ends up looking ^^. The only problem there is the bandits that will raid it as soon as you're done. But if you find a good server you can build an empire! Both games i'd probably recommend having a friend (or multiple) with you, as it will be much more fun that way.

state of decay is really funny, a bit repetitive though.
infestation: survivor stories had many issues and was missing promised content at the launch, therefore the negative reputation.
it´s still being updated to bring that stuff. i´ve stopped playing it because of the horrible amount of hackers, not sure if that has changed. but i have to admit, i had plenty of fun with it.
but i wouldn´t recommend it, unless it gets a 99% discount!
for me, the true gem of survival is, and always will be the stalker series
(at least till survarium is done: http://survarium.com )

Hi guys.
There were some survival games released lately and I am really keen on test one. I just don't know which one would be the best.
So there are DayZ, Infestation: Survivor Stories, RUST and Nether.
So DayZ seems to be extremely buggy and boring at the moment. It is more like running simulator, so I prefer to wait for a full release instead of wasting over 30€ for pre-Alpha version.
Infestation: Survivor Stories has many negative reviews and comments. I don't know if developers did anything to improve gameplay. It seems fun, but 20/100 metacritic makes me not sure about this.
And finally there're Rust and Nether. Both seems great at the moment. Rust is what real survival should be. I mean no monsters, no zombies, just other players with whom you can communicate. And Nether is really climatic, it reminds mi Metro a little bit.
Help me choose :D Which survival game would you recommend?
