New Killer Bundle from Bundle Stars?

Yep, it was definitely average especially for the amount of hype they put on it.

I thought it was pretty great. Granted I only had one of the games already but the games seemed pretty good, especially for the price.

That's fairly surely not remotely the sole basis of how we evaluate bundles. :P
Considering how many dubious games are highly reviewed [I know of at least one single-player pong knockoff that was at very positive- and that's not getting into joke-reviewed games like Bad Rats], and how many games have been free-spammed but still retain high ratings, it's a useless consideration to base off of on its own.

As I recall, the bundle was Party Hard, Another World, an ex-Monthly game of little popular interest, and a bunch of free/multiple-bundled games.
And at $3, if you were only going in it for Party Hard or Another World (or Lethal League), it may seem a bit less appealing compared to other bundles. If you wanted both games, or missed out on the other games in the bundle before, sure, it's a solid bundle (especially if you'd missed out on Door Kickers up till now).

But rather, that's just the thing: It's a typical, predictably decent bundle, especially by Bundlestars considerations, lacking in any notable inclusions or notable points of appeal.
It's fairly comparable to Indie Legends 1 and 3, and better than 2. It doesn't stand out as being especially beneficial in cost-to-gain, in the significance of its inclusions, or the overall quality or breadth of its inclusions.

In other words, it's not a bad bundle, and if we view it on its own merits, there's nothing to complain about. On the other hand, the hype was certainly overblown and misleading, and that can totally be dismissed and disagreed with. Compared to what was indicated, the games do seem crappy- it's like if someone promised you a steak dinner [or equivalent], and then gave you some chicken fingers [or equivalent].
Hell yeah, some people are going to love them chicken fingers- but that doesn't mean the people expecting steak dinner won't be disappointed by the contrast. :P

Of course, compared to the even more low-key Be Mine 27, this is a well-rounded, decently sized bundle that you don't have the risk of a preorder on. Again, nothing to complain about- though scoffing at future hype definitely seems a reasonable action to take.

In other words, the issue wasn't the bundle, but the hype- and those who found themselves especially irritated by the contrast seem to be faltering a bit in being clear with that distinction. :P

Not that I'd need it myself, it wouldn't even run on my PC (old CPU with no SSE4.1).
