Ok so I got a new PC a couple weeks ago and I want to install Diablo 3 via the disc. Some time before, I was trying to install the Battle.net App.
Thing is, every time I run the Diablo 3 Installation,it shows that Battle.net is starting up but it has no progress bar and it cuts off my internet connection. I looked for solutions and tried what I could but to no avail.

What I tried:
Running as Admin
Disabling Anti-Virus + Firewall and running as admin
Restarting computer
Updating Windows
Updating Adobe Flash + Java
Making sure Secondary Logon is active and set to start-up automatically
Redownloading Battle.net installer
Downloading Diablo 3 launcher from Battle.net
Downloading Battle.net installer in IE

If anyone at all can help me, I will hug you (virtually).

P.S. I never installed Battle.net on my new PC so I can't kill Agent.exe.

The cutting of your internet connection sounds like a router problem.
You might try to remove your router completely from your network, connect your computer directly to the internet connection, and test again.

My connection is only cut off when running the installer. The entire day I had been downloading games off of Steam and no connection problems until trying to install Battle.net.

Delete everything about Diablo 3 and Battle.net,
Install Battle.ney FIRST, then install Diablo 3.I'm not sure if that works, but trying won't harm you ^^

I haven't been able to install anything from Battle.net so I don't have any files to delete :(

Delete/uninstall all Diablo 3 and battle.net app files first. Allow battle.net through your firewall and download the battle.net app before trying to install the game.

Why install from disc, it would take longer since newer updates are a complete file replacement, and you end up downloading the same amount.
Does not seem wise to me.

My suggestion:
Do not bother with the disc. Install the Battle.net app then download Diablo III.
