most group owners/moderators don't care about what others think of those csgo website as long as they get their share of profit
for example many gleam giveaways will make you join multiple groups that (sometimes) will be owned by the same person and that same person will spam all of those groups with the exact same stuff, sometimes ref links, other times crappy greenlight games (which i doubt that are being advertised without getting nothing in return)
but hey! I know nothing about that stuff, i just like to watch them all burn

Has anyone noticed recently that certain steam groups have been randomly popping up, sponsoring steam code giveaways in Gleam?
Its gotten to the point where its clear every single group that is sponsoring one of these giveaways is simply buying users to join their group so that they can spam users links to dodgy looking "CS:GO Raffles", "CS:GO Betting" , "CS:GO Trading" websites.
Not only that but they're regurgitating links to each other steam group involved in this, hooking people in with fake promises of 'Free CS:GO gun skins' and other similar crap...
Is this not against the Steam Group rules?
