I only bought the bundle once. And I certainly would not have purchased that game on its own
Uhm, isn't that the solution then? Probably you accidently made two GAs while only having one key, so the second winner got an invalid key and when you contacted Humble the original key was revoked.

And that's why you never make giveaways while drunk :P

I recently made a giveaway for a key I used on my own account, and I don't even drink. Just too many keys in too many places. P

I've made multiple giveaways of the same key before by accident. I forgot to denote it as having been given away in my spreadsheet. I've also given away the wrong key for a different game because of my poor copy and paste skills, apparently. And the person b activated person a's key, etc. Shit happens. :p

Happened several times to me. Mistakes while copying keys into my spreadsheet; traded games and don't get feedback right away -> not removed from spreadsheet; copied into or removed from the wrong row and didn't notice before saving .. and the probability for these mistakes grow with the spreadsheet. With keys for more than 1000 several games it's get messy.
Should have used barter from the beginning.

Guess drinking isn't the issue then. Just creating GAs while drunk is an issue :D

Well, at least it looks like the mystery has been solved.

I'm sorry, but this comment made me nose exhale for some reason.
I'm glad the other person didn't keep you waiting, at least.

He never pestered me either but unfortunately I almost pestered him instead, I'm glad I didn't. I had a winner who called me a bitch because he didn't like the game he won. I also had a giveaway creator who added all entrants days before the giveaway even ended so he could message the winner the second it ended and there were hundreds of entrants.

Sorry to hear you had that problem, but I'm glad that the mystery was solved!

That's why I'm hyper-nervous when creating GA's, always checking every key thrice (does this word exist oO?)... well, it happens. Hope you can sort it out with the unlucky guy who got their key unfortunately revoked, good luck!
Checks if you've given Planescape Torment away before... ;P
