It's a phishing page, many of those are around. Just keep in mind steam will never ever ever ever ask you for your email with password.

Lol, indeed. And probably shouldn't put the link up.

Then how would people know? They have to enter their details to succeed

Many antivirus i.e bitdefender have anti-phishing thing which blocks pages like these. Also, kind of common sense to be honest.

Well, eventually there will be idiots that will click the link and fall for it. It's the internet. And report it to the mods on SPUF.

OMG, I CAN GET A FREE GAME? DONE!
I will TOTALLY Enter My Email Address and Password!! Even though it has absolutely nothing to do with it, I don't care, a free game is a free game!

How would some one fall for it if i posted a thread that its a scam? Now they will be oblivious to it and if they get linked will have a even greater chance of doing it, with the link being there it showed them what site it was, it wasnt even a clicky link.
I will edit my original post and remove the full link.

Is my edit ok to keep? google search of my info doesnt find the phishing site so there is no way of them getting to it. At least know they know what to look out for.

I guess that's alright. In response to your earlier comment: It would be difficult to fall for it, yes; but nothing is impossible - someone could open the link, forget why they opened it and fill it in at the prospect of "free games". Or maybe someone could open it, go AFK and someone else hops on the computer and see's "Free games" - and fills their info in.
The best way of protecting others from such sites is to not pass the link on to them.

I sent the report to Google. Gave these phishers the true password to an empty account: "lolsuckmycock". Will they try to stole an empty account? It'll be funny.

Don't give this guy any attention, he's just sowing discontent.
