Don't you think that people who want to have value would say that the collectors edition is the normal? It is there full right as it contains it! And even more! You could also say: Wanna giveaway Star Wars Battlefront 2 and then give the winner the whole Lucasarts pack. That is legit and I do not think that the winner will have anything against it...

Its more like an gold edition, it the game and some DLC that can be bought separately if you have normal version. It contains Collector edition goodies that are not on the bundle list but can be bought on steam, with that logic someone can just gift that for value as its not on the list.

well yeah, but with that logic someone could report you for gifting Collectors Edition as Normal please don't say that he got more so he wont.

its not the question of that but of one being in a bundle and another not being in a bundle but both are marked as bundle.

how? there are 5 Alan Wake items on steam, there are 2 Alan Wake items in bundle, There are 4 Alan Wake items on the bundle list. My question is why 4 and not just the ones that are in the bundle or all of them?

1 - People can easily give Alan Wake: Collector's Edition as Alan Wake to bypass the reduced value so they added it to the list.
2 - The franchise is added to the list because both games in the bundle is what make the franchise pack.
3 - Alan Wake Collector's Edition Extras is a DLC that unlocks the Collector's Version if you own the original Alan Wake. It's not another version of Alan Wake.

Yeah, I know it's considered a bundle.
What I meant to say was that since Alan Wake: Collector's Edition and Alan Wake: American Nightmare is currently being sold in the humble bundle weekly it makes sense to put the franchise in the bundle list too since those two games are the games that are found in the franchise pack.
Sorry if I didn't make it clear.

its not obvious, its just fixing a broken system, it you believe that people will abuse a system so you put restrictions, then you see something that someone can abuse if they break or ignore the rules and instead of some kind of suspension or something that would enforce the rules they add it all to the bundle list.

there are 2 versions of this game in steam store. 1 version is in a bundle and 2 versions are on the list

Base game is bundled because otherwise people would use the CE as base
Franchise is bundled because it is the base game and the follow up, both which are in the bundle
