Just don't forget yourselves - caring about kids is important but at the same time caring about yourselves should also count at least to some extent. Saying this because I saw some of my friends almost literally disappearing. And I mean not only from social media (their feeds being only the photos of the kids) - if we visit them it's like the only thing that exists in the world is kids. As if there were no more hobbies, no more interests, no more books, films, TV series, games, travels etc. Just talking about kids and that's it. And of course asking each time when we'll be having our own...
Glad to add to that little rant of mine that some can still do both and do it great (kids aren't neglected or anything) and I hope that we'll do it just like them one day :)

This is solid advice, dont think it is a rant. We need to take care of our children but ourselves too.
And I hate people that ask when are you going to make one. Do you know of my circumstances? Do you know if I can? If I want?

My wife gave birth to a small boy!
There were no problems, my wife is currently recuperating.
My boy is small and screams when he is awake. No sleep for me, but I love the little bastard!
