Are Gleam io giveaways worth entering?
i think not.But i only enter that there s nothing to earn point by referral friends.i never won these. i can try others if time is not too long.Becuase for example that lasts 30 days and it requires daily enter.thats make me sucks after a while

I have won graphics card, gift cards, earphone and multiple games. They were all from gleam io
One instance that I have won beside from gleam.io is 16GB RAM from EVGA using their own thing.
Gleam are more reliable but it tends to depend upon who is running the competition. I never do sharing/tweeting/retweeting/liking/referring options. I only chose options such as follow on tweeter/subscribe on youtube/visit website, instagram, facebook etc/ watch videos.
Generally I avoid new youtube accounts GA. And for other GA I first read terms and conditions. Mostly they are targeted to US&Canada. If they state its international I go for it.

I occasionally do sweeping and I'm still undecided on gleam. Here is the thing, unlike Amazon or Steam gifts there is no oversight. I've set up a free gleam GA as a test once and of special note was I could cancel or disqualify people without any reason and gleam did nothing to ensure I actually sent the winnings and don't announce to the winner they won until I choose to notify them. Altogether during my periods of intense sweeping I may enter 40 gleam links a day but I've only won things from gamecheap. So I'm not saying you can't win things just understand that your giving your details to a stranger with only their word that if you win they will send you something. Always check the rules and just skip any hosts that seem fishy.

Not on the free version, paid may have additional features but there is no way to tell if the host is free or paid. Generally, with videos, I either ignore them or run in background muted. Also, I have a separate email, twitter, and youtube set up to filter sweeps because I get spammed a lot. The image below shows what I see, on free it's birth date, name, location, email, and ip. The win screen shows that they don't contact the winner and how I can invalidate whoever I want, in this case, I invalidated one of my own entries and was not notified. For some reason, my imgur links aren't showing in the forum but clicking the broken image will still take you to the image on imgur if you're interested.

Interesting.. I guess I won't be entering any of GA if they don't have set Terms and Conditions and their Channel is not so popular.
I mean at least it should look genuine. When you state all the rules and what happens when someone wins what should they do, who bears the shipping taxes etc. It kinda shows it might be legitimate.
After all it is a tool for marketing and promotion, who knows how many times you might have won but the GA creator removed or didn't contact you.
I have won several gleam.io competition (7-8), but only 2 shows winners after the end. Other just emailed me.

I notice more and more companies are using Gleam to giveaway prizes. You can sign up for them with your Steam login or one of any of a dozen other social media type account. I wonder how much data do they get from us to make it worth their time to give us prizes? Does getting page hits for going to their Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc really make them that much money? How much is your online browsing info worth to you?
