I'd say stay away from H1Z1 and DayZ. If you want PvP with Zombies, get Arma 3 with ExileZ mods. Other then that, State of Decay is a great game, The Long dark is also pretty good, has a few flaws, but I still loved it, and Dying Light I haven't played, but my brother says it's amazing.

But I'm sure you will like it. It's the most beautiful game I've ever seen. It's also the game that made me aware of walking sim's. Before that I did not know they existed. I'm glad it did as they are my favourite now and the only reason I'm still playing. As Ethan is the most beautiful game, Infra is my favourite as a whole. The price is a bit steep and I haven't seen many sales but sometimes you can get lucky. I bought mine about 10 months ago for 2 keys (4 $).
If you have any recommendations that are not on my wl or in my library please share! As this is a genre most people seem to hate it's quite hard to find hidden gems.

I can't think of anything on Steam that you don't have owned or wishlisted. I was going to recommend Off-Peak but I see that you've found that as well.
I do recommend taking a look at itch.io if you haven't, as there are some wonderful things to be found there, mostly free. Off-Peak was there for ages as is a smaller title from the same developer - https://cosmoddd.itch.io/saturn-v Also there I was recently spending a bit of time with https://vltmn.itch.io/the-endless-express of late. So far I've only gone through a bit but already I adore it for the amazing way that the game menu is integrated into the world as a location that you summon to the spot. https://oxam.itch.io/dreamsim is another favourite of mine. It's small and once you get outside lacks variety but the atmosphere is stunning. Be sure to try the older version there as well as that has colour which gives it a different feel.
Another which is no longer on itch is https://indiegamestand.com/free-games/1856/abyssinia/ It's very short but I found it to be quite satisfying.
Finally, a couple of older games, sort of proto-walking sims from the 90s that I adore. They're both made of pre-rendered screens navigated step by step similar to Myst, as you would expect from games of that time. But they're definitely close to today's walking simulators in their emphasis on atmosphere and story, lack of puzzles and breathtaking visual design. I don't think either can be bought new today and can't vouch for them running natively on modern computers but if you can get them and are comfortable using Vmware for the PC version or Shapeshifter for the Mac to run them I can't recommend them enough.

Whoops, almost forgot in that long post! https://oleomingus.itch.io Studio Oleomingus' three free games. I've not played them yet as I'm saving them for just the right rainy day. I've read only good things about them and from the preview screens it's clear that they are visually outstanding, to say the least.

Ended up buying shadow of mor..at 9.99 meh..iknow 3.29 on other sites but been bullcrapping on buyn it ..sleeping dogs at $7.50.... just cause iv never played n its posed 2 be top notch.........ans splinter cell chaos ,,,,,,,,og.splint cell on ps2 forget bout it....meh everyone warned me stay awya from the hoororr games on sale unless u wana spend 30_ a game,,,,meh meh meh
