A letter is hidden in each image (no numbers). You'll want to look at them in full resolution.
If you can find some of the letters, but not all, you can probably get the rest of the way there by looking at the original puzzle.

I like bundled games, but without hints or something I couldn't figure out your code...I think that was more likely the larger part of your problem. :)

There haven't been a lot of solvers, true, but more than enough that, if they entered after solving, I wouldn't need to make a second puzzle.
The reason there are no hints for the first puzzle is that any hint I could think of to give would immediately give it away.
