I enter Giveaways for any game I WANT to play. I currently have a backlog of 30 console games and 50 PC games at the moment, though, so the chances of me playing it right away are slim to none. Not to mention 28 of those console games are 30+ hour RPGs. I think I should stop buying games for a while and just play some, but sooo many good games have been coming out lately!

^ This. So much this. I'm going to finish up Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim (the main quest at least) and then start working through every gift I've gotten, from shortest to longest.

Yeah. Those are both very good ones. I finished up Skyrim (Mostly anyways. Played it 80 hours) back in November. It was super hyped where I live, and working at a game store meant I had to finish it fast to avoid spoilers. I worked the Midnight Launch at another store, and we sold 250 copies of Skyrim in 3 hours!

Mass Effect 3 was only finished by me about 2 weeks ago. Now I have Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii), Tales of Graces F (PS3), Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PS3) and Legends of Grimrock (PC obviously) to play though next. I'm free from Uni after today though. "Studying" for my last exam (Genetics) right now....ish....lol. Have fun with your backlog!

So I've heard. It's somewhere in the middle, I believe. How long is it?

It's their game, they'll do what they want with it and play it when they want to. Don't giveaway games if something like that pisses you off. Remember, it's no longer your game so there's no point in stalking their profile.

Maybe they don't have time to play it right away, I know I don't most of the time when I buy a game

There's plenty of reasons someone isn't playing some game right now. Anyway, essence of my opinion was already posted by Jonex.
And we already had so many threads about this...

Another good reason is internet download caps. Some people still have appallingly crap internet connections or stupid overuse charges.

I'm collecting games that I can play when I get a new PC. My computer is nearly 10 years old and can hardly run Steam.

And what is your playtime on "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" and "Faerie Solitaire" again?

MW2: 11.7 hrs on record.

Faerie Solitaire is at 0 but leads into another point. Steam's counter for games played in offline mode is completely borked. Most of the games on my library I've played for a short while, to test how well they work and which I want to play first, but it doesn't show up.
