Sync, stats and wishlist

I am sorry if this has been discussed before or if this is not the place to suggest this. I was thinking that the addition of direct links to the sync, stats and wishlist pages would be very useful to the site.

Ok, we all know (at least people who usually roam in the forums) how to access them by simply adding them in the url or you can also easily find them by searching the forums however it feels that an easier way to get there would be very useful.

There has been more and more people with sync problems who can't find their way to the proper page and personally I feel that the existance of a Wishlist page would encorage more people to check out the favoured titles in people's lists and the ones that have yet to be given away in the site before they create a raffle. I know I have done that :P The stats one, well, it's just an interesting feature ;)

If there is another way to get to those pages that I am unaware of I am very sorry for the fail :)

A wishlist or some form of tracking a game (to notify you of any giveaways for that particular game) would be nice, indeed.

Just checking an individual person's wishlist is already easy enough since all you have to do is go to their Steam profile. However, it would be pretty cool to have a page that compiled an average wishlist roughly representing the most wanted games by people on this site. Of course this could potentially be a lot of effort, and while I think it sounds good, it wouldn't really be a big loss to not have something like this.

As for a link to the sync page, I think they are already working on it. If they aren't currently working on it, then I'm fairly certain that they have plans to. For the time being however, it's really not a hard link to remember once you know it.

I think you misunderstood me guys. All of the features I referred to are already implemented on the site. Regarding the wishlist I was referring to the same feature that exists in the site that tracks down the most wanted games amongst synced users and which lets you filetr them according price range and even see which games have yet to be given away at all. However there are no direct links to it unless you search in the forums, go throuth the FAQ or type it directly in the url. I just thought that a direct link to those sections at the top of the page for example would be useful

Ah I see.. well in terms of 'usability' and 'makes the most sense'

1) The Sync button should be in the "Account" menu. Technically the sync is automatic right now. Maybe they're worried about people syncing too often? I know the Steam API only allows a certain # of connections per day or something. If not then I think in the "Account" section having a button makes the most sense.

2) I do agree a wishlist filter similar to how the SG enhancement works would be nice as a pulldown option.
