A Vin Diesel magnitude game is being made by Obsidian.

Bring on the 5th graders and gingers!

Who doesn't love South Park?

I won't trust that this will be a good game until I try a demo. Otherwise, it's just another bad South Park video game. At least they aren't up in the Simpsons amount of terrible games.

This is true but least the Simpsons have had some really good games like Arcade and Hit & Run (and Virtual Springfield which I really liked) to go along with the crappier ones. I can't think of one good South Park game although I've only played the racing one which stunk.

Can't believe this is seriously a thing. Imaginationland better be a playable zone

Strange to hire Obsidian for a game they're not writing. It's one of their strong suits, and can make their often clunky and bug ridden releases enjoyable.

If they're not writing it then there's really nothing they can bring to the table.

New Vegas did well, but how large was their cut of the profits? Also, Dungeon Siege III bombed and Alpha Protocol (which had a very lengthy and protracted development) also never really made it big.

They're hurting for money, which is why they're taking on something like this.

On the bright side, we'll have another shitty South Park game to add to the established pantheon.

What is a AAA title and what does South Park have to do with it?

Obsidian never really did well, New Vegas really succeeded alongside Fallout 3. Kotor 2 was a literally unfinished game that also tried but failed to hinge on the success of it's predecessor.

I've always loved Obsidian, I'm actually rather excited about this.
