So, I've been a member on this site for around 6 months or so now I think but I've never really looked it up before(Because I didn't care so much about the humble bundles, and it's not in the FAQ) but I've read here and there that you are not allowed to make giveaways for games that you get from a bundle but you have to make a giveaway with the bundle, if that's so, why are there so many giveaways from the bundles created with the game separate? (Obvious answers to the question but still a question I wanted to ask).

Am I wrong or how is it?

That was an old rule and no longer applies.
The new rule is that you can giveaway bundle games but you'll get 20% of your total contributor value, not full bundle value as opposed to giving away away the full bundle for full value.

Well the $30 cap is still pretty stupid IMO. Bundle games are not free. Usually a $1 bundle has 5-6games. Why not mark it as $0.20 value. BTA games in bundle are usually $5 or more, thats $4 more, just mark it $2 value if there is only 2 BTA?

That would be unfair to the people who bought the game after the bundle, don't you think?
I think $30 is fine, not too much and not too little.

It's also worth noting that while SteamGifts now allows these giveaways, I'm 99% certain they are technically against the ToS of the Humble Bundles (not sure about the other groups that do bundles, never bought them before). The chances of you getting caught seem like they would be pretty slim, but it's still there.

This a is perfect opportunity for all of us to take another look at the FAQ/Rules and Guidelines.

Especially that easily missed link within the FAQ to Official CG Announcements.

Some of us might need more reminding than others...
