Can't trade TF2 items?

had the same problem yesterday just close the trade window and try it again worked then for me

I had the same problem. Had to retry the trade for like 3 times (restarted steam before each trading try). Steam has lots of problems lately...damn!

steam's trade system has these kinds of problems since day1, nothing unusual

It usually goes away after a little while, just try again later.

I had this problem a couple of hours ago while trading with someone. It fixed itself for me by restarting Steam.

My TF 2 section of my inventory isn't showing right now, idk if it's related. :/

TF2 keys can be trade-locked for a period of time, depending if the sender has made a recent purchase or not. This may apply here, I don't know...
