So a few hours ago I have won a giveaway for Arms Dealer. I was very happy, becouse I wanted that game very much. But when I try to activate the game, Steam says I have to activate the original game first. I did a quick google research and found out that there is an Alienware (Free) DLC. But this was never mentioned in the giveaway description. I've tried contacting the guy, but he removed me.
What should I do now?

report him and mark as not received after 7 days, and move on. He probably will received a temp ban for using a promotion key and a fake giveaway

also you shouldn't post link to giveaway or his steam profile.
if he remove you, you are free from further actions. optional post information about problem on his steam profile wall (he may have blocked this option) and forget about it. welcome on steamgifts, this things happens sometimes :)

Yeah most if not all the recent arms dealer giveaways are the Alienware one.

I would be wary of any Dying Light giveaways too. Alienware still has keys for some free T-Shirt DLC for that as well.

Of course it was the free Alienware DLC. Most, if not all of them probably were. This happens every time there is a promo like that. I knew it when I saw the giveaways going up but the so-called 'calling out' rules here are so dogmatically interpreted and absurdly applied that you can't even issue a friendly PSA without fear of retribution. Submit a ticket to report it to the staff. If they do their job properly (dubious) the guy warrants a suspension.
