Hi there,
I decided to make a new train. This train is very special for me because it is the first train I made using ESGST user script. The creation speed is really very fast. It is even much, much faster than creating trains with the old good SGChooChoo auto trainer.

In short, you just copying & pasting game names and keys to text fields, clicking on add button to add the game to queue and after there are all games, you just have to click on a button "create train" and it will automatically made all the GAs, connect them and even add the counter. And the initial settings can be loaded from a template of course so no need to set it again next time. :)

Yes, you can make your own format of the description. You can use which words you want for the previous/next and you don't have to use the counter at all.

But the counter is quite a good thing because without the counter, trains can be quite frustrating when they are long and people don't know when they will end.

I mean if you have a single game or a group of games repeating it might trick people to think that it might be broken and just repeating itself over and over.

Hehe, it seems you enjoying torturing people. :D You can also use railroad switches and confuse people even more. ;)

Railroad switch in SG trains are wagons where there are more links to other GAs than just one as usually. So in the wagon there is instead of NEXT, for example, this "Take the left way here or right way here". And both the word here leads to different giveaway. And both the giveaways continues as trains. After few wagons you can make one of them "dead end" and put there a link to a previous wagon. Just like in reality.

But I am not sure if a stressful situation can be called effort. :D Maybe you could try a puzzle trains instead. Just to make a puzzle leading to a train. I tried both, this puzzle train and train with lots of switches. It didn't have many entries, though.

If I think I may be in a train loop, then yes, it is quite stressful for me. I enter just a very few giveaways nowadays so I don't recognize already visited giveaways. Luckily I was in a loop just a few times.

I never knew it was called railroad switching

I don't know if it is called like that. I just checked dictionary and saw there this phrase. Not many people do this trains so I didn't have many chances to see it written somewhere. :)

And do you yourself enjoy the looks-like-a-loop parts in trains? If you do, you may be a masochist. :D

I don't have a problem with it too when I am sure it was not a loop. It is just different while I am not sure about it. :)

It is not hard to compare two parts of URLs, but if the train contains, for example, 50 wagons and in the wagon number 50, there is a link leading to the beginning instead of a normal bump link, it will takes quite a time to find the two parts of URLs again. But doing this is not why I visit trains. I want to enjoy the ride and not to solve if it is an accidentally made a loop or just a teasing of an user. I just prefer a relaxed ride, that's all. ;)
