Nvidia scams GTX 970 buyers with false specifications

I saved up money for like 3 years to buy a decent PC with decent graphics card.... I should've waited for amd 300 series... :(
I hope someone who has money for lawyers will sue them.

And I'll still buy the card because it's still fkn awesome and MSI's red version of it looks super smexy. I've had too much trouble with AMD anyway :/

actually its just an issue with hardware checking software, people have tested it in games and it allows you to use the full 4GB

Reread what i linked, nvidia marketed the gtx 970 with false specifications, they lied about the number of ROPs and L2 cache. Also because they made it 3.5 GB + 0.5 GB , its not really a 256bit graphics card, its basically like 224 + 32 bit, so they did lie about memory bandwith too.

TL;DR fanboys should shut up and see that they did have false marketing.

I see that only fanboys are here, so then buy a lot of nvidia's products, you guys have a lot of money so you guys don't care if you get scammed.. If they did this once, they will do it again, they will just scam more and more... This is why the world is full of PoS, big companys scamming people, but rich\idiot people doesn't care.
