What are you implying? What's even the point of that image? Comparing bodybuilding and strongmen is like comparing football and tennis, they're two different sports with different goals.
Strongmen have thicker core not because it's stronger (well, it probably is, but not by much), but because there's more fat. Bodybuilders are not weak at all, but strength is not their main focus. You can't build big muscles without heavy weights.
Either way, it's stupid to put down bodybuilding because it's look oriented and "vain". It involves as much training as any other sport, but with its own approach.
And anyone who thinks that strongmen don't take steroids is dumber than a bag of rocks.

Not all Strongmen are on steriods and are fat, there are low weight strongman competitions are they are strong as fuck.

Of course, and not all bodybuilders are on steroids either. However, when we're talking about pro level athletes (and that goes for ALL sports), almost everyone is on steroids. It's just that bodybuilding is the most obvious, being so visual and all.

Oh yeah no doubt, actors too, I am bodybuilding and it would be nice in the future to incorporate some strength training, but that's for the future I guess but one is not better than the other, it comes down to what the individual goals are in regards to OP

Hey sublime,
Benni (the lifter shown in the original post) is a beast, and that image was intended to be humorous, which I thought would be apparent by the last line in red: "This is the body of a guy who fights bears on a mountain."
I was merely adding to the funny pics posted by Sisyphus above me, and wasn't taking a shot at bodybuilding. I didn't create that picture and didn't expect anyone to take it seriously, and I give bodybuilders an immense amount of respect for the amount of dedication that it requires. Let's face it... if it was easy, we'd all be "buff".
You also make some very good points. Steroid use is rampant in strongmen as well (and in athletics in general, even in sports that aren't normally considered strength-based). Strongmen have thicker waists due to a higher body fat percentage. Bodybuilders bulk and cut, while strongmen see no benefit to the cutting phase. And finally, bodybuilders are strong as hell. The graphic I posted merely said that, "When you see these guys in competition they're at their weakest", which is actually true. They aim for 2-4% body fat during competitions, which is only achievable by literally starving themselves. Those ultra-low fat levels cause extreme fatigue and compromise the immune system, and would be downright lethal to try to maintain long-term. Again though, this wasn't intended to be taken seriously.

If I can lift her weight, that should be good enough.

creatine will make u absorb more water, which requires u to drink like 6 liters of water a day, or else u'll get muscle cramps
also its the most studied supplement, and increases strength a bit
used it for like 3-4 months a row, 5-10g a day, never had any problems except cramps

Never had any cramps, actually I only had like 4 in my whole life ^^ and I don't drink more than about 3-4 liters.

You shouldn't necessarily need any supplements.
If you do, make sure you DO need it. It won't make you better, it'll only replace what you are missing. ;)
