I've always been bothered by the fact that you have a limited party size when it comes to classic RPGs. Having too many companions to choose from can be a hassle, especially if some are unbalanced compared to others.
How should I know beforehand which one could be key to the story/gameplay/overall fun/whatever? Well, I say: just pick them all for once.

Here's a jigidi

Nothing too hard, I hope.
Good luck!

Edit: lvl3+; GAs: Thronefall, Gravity Circuit, Turbo Overkill and one more.

I feel like I need a hint to figure out the 4th one, either I am missing something or I just can't figure out how to put the pieces together.

So, since a few people asked me privately, the fourth GA is what you may think it is while trying to solve the "real" puzzle.

Concerning the puzzle itself, I guess there are two ways to interpret what I tell you to do in the OP. Just mind that I didn't give you any indication about a possible order and if you end up with something much longer than you need, well, that's wrong.

If you google the jigidi picture you'll find out that it's a portrait of Blaise de Vigenère.
The Vigenère cipher is a relatively famous ecryption method that uses a key to encode a message.

I edited the picture and added names on it. They're the names of the companions you can have in Baldur's Gate 3 (the 4th GA).
In my OP I hint that companions are key, plus I tell you to pick them all for once. What I meant there is that you had to use them all, since all of them are keys in this case.
Starting from the jigidi title ieoILrxtkfpKpJdl, by using each single key one after the other, you'd get the message theGAcodeisScWcw.
That's it! Thanks for participating!

Edit: refer to ormax3 picture below to get a visual rapresentation of the thing.
You basically had to take the jigidi title, decode it using one of the companion names as key, then take that first decoded message and decode it with another name, and so on untill you've used all six of the names. Given the nature of the cipher the order you use them doesn't matter, the only important things are that you use them all once and that you don't make typos.

either this tool absolutely sucks or I am still missing something
I tried every single permutation I could have using jigidi title/each name(and even tossed baldur, gate, key into the mix when I was getting nowhere).

I tried everything you said here in the solution(again) and am still unable to solve it.

the idea is to apply them in succession, example using cryptii shown below

(you can still use dcode.fr, but will have to manually copy the output as input each time for the next iteration)

plaintext = D_k6(D_k5(D_k4(D_k3(D_k2(D_k1(ciphertext)))))

D_k being Vigenere decryption D using key k

pretty sure I tried this at least once, cross checking my notepad file I made ... I made a couple typos when putting everything in notepad for easy copy/pasting to try different ideas and didn't catch them.

definitely bookmarking this site, seems much cleaner than the top google results for alot of encryption/decryption tools and if I screw up again on something like this with a typo it would be easier to catch. I need to double check my notes when I am struggle with things like this more :/.

tdiGAccziisScSuw this was what I was getting.. all because of 2 easy typos... I messed up Astarion with Astarian and Laezel with Leazel
very easy to do when tired :/ ... and it just had to be both, with just 1 misspelled it would have been clear that there would have been a typo on my side.

at least I know I wouldn't have won even if I did do it right. I feel better knowing I did the steps right at least once, it was a different error causing my failure to solve.

On this page, at each step, you must change the ciphertext with the result on the left.
As example...
Step 1: Ciphertext = ieoILrxtkfpKpJdl key = ASTARION result = imvIUjjgknwKyBpy (on the left of the page)
Step 2: Ciphertext = imvIUjjgknwKyBpy key = SHADOWHEART....

I was getting inconsistent/weird results and poor responsiveness from dcode.fr so I used https://vigenerecipher.com/ instead.

First, use ieoILrxtkfpKpJdl as the message and the first character name as the key and hit Decrypt. Then take the output and replace the original message with it, change the key to the next character name, and repeat till you used all the names. I started with astarion first and went clockwise but I don't know if it matters.

I still don't understand, where do I put the "ieoILrxtkfpKpJdl" code and the keys? How to decode, what algo, technique or website or whatever?

Let me whitelist you. You deserved anyway, but actually to create a video for the explanation for the people that did not get it is extremely helpful.

Thanks. That helped a lot. I didn't turn on the audio so can't comment on the English, but I am sure it wouldn't have been an issue.
I guess what I was struggling with was the fact that how did we know what crypto method to use to decode.
