How can you prove that everybody loves everybody in this group?

You have a point in mallorns book - if you were able to get to lvl 5-6 with a few more non bundle giveaways - would help :) , mallorn said he would talk to you - you are welcome to come stop by and chat if you would like

I'll just leave these here, since I'm around.

I'm not sure if I can or want to meet the desired giveaway ratio to be honest. Not sure if I understand that correctly. Is it I have to give at least one non-bundled game every month? And I have to keep a ratio above or equal 1:1 (the group page states "Giveaway to Win Ratio, G ≥ W")? What about the bundled games? Reading through the comments here it also looked like discounted games are not desired. I got fired three weeks ago and am a little short on money atm, sooo...
Of course there is the heavy focus on community part, that I find very much appealing (for example Puna's creativity raffle is just my type of thing, I love being creative; or Group Chats, there's nothing better than a bunch of people going freaky silly in a chat, sharing many good laughs; or gaming together - still need a reliable bunch of cracks to play through Forced), so please, let me know if I understood something wrong.

Well, you are right for the rules part: one non-bundle GA (with confirmed winner) per month is mandatory, and the ratio must not fall under 1:1 (or you cannot enter new GAs before fixing it). Ratio takes into account the number of GA, but also the value of given / won games (so nobody can abuse the system).
Bundle games are not much given away in the group, and don't usually get much entrants. If you want more precise info they count for 0.2 point when a non-bundle counts for 1.
I guess Puna or another admin can send you an extract of the group spreadsheet, so you have a more precise idea of what kind of GAs get entrants, or fail. Usually, big discount games don't work. It's up to you to see if you can afford to spend some money each month, but nobody is expected to give away 60 bucks AAA games every time. I'd say that average monthly GA is about 10/15 bucks real cost (that's an estimation, not a calculation).
Overall, the group is really nice, people are really nice, group events are really nice, and I won't talk about the really nice chat because I'm not often there. But if you plan to be, it's a good point for you :)

you don't need to check what games are desirable now, thanks to SGv2
Just look at SG group page and everything is clear :)
plus statistics for ELEG are awesome in my oppinion

Thanks for the lengthy reply, m0l0! Considering my current financial status quo I pass on applying for the group this time, but I might reconsider this when I got that income thing sorted out :)
Allow me one question and excue me if I sound dumb, but I'm always asking me this: what is the purpose of a giveaway group with 1:1 ratio system? Of course I know it prevents leeching, nobody wants leechers. But if I buy a non-bundled game to give it away and make someone happy that's one thing. Doing it in the forums or for the whitelist I can see a sense in that, reaching people who might not be able to afford it themselves. 1:1 ratio in a bundle group (I'm a member of BundleQuest) also makes sense to me because it's like trading without the negotiating and the fun of winning. But in a giveaway group where everybody gives non-bundled games? So it seems to me I give away a game to be eligible to win another game. So why not buy a game for myself in the first place?

There's no dumb question, but the one you don't dare to ask :)
To make it short, people don't come to this kind of group in order to win games as first motivation. Everyone is different and I can't speak for each member, but the purpose of all this is, in my eyes, to be a part of a nice community, where people are not greed-driven and enjoy making other people happy. To make it even shorter, it's not about winning, but about giving. It's not that different that making a whitelist GA in the end.
Of course, there is still the pleasure of gambling and winning, the discovery of great games you never heard of before, weekly and monthly wishlists, events...

thanks for the interested.
i have reviewed your profile: though you have reached level 5, I am concerned that your history of games that give full value, would not be successful in the group, and you will find it difficult to make giveaways. ; based off - http://54.93.81.159/ --shows the contribution values that are put towards earning you level - you have $275.9 - majority coming from verdun (92$) - [very cheap discount in recent past; and left 4 dead (40$) - therefore, on profile alone, I can not invite you ; if you are still interested in joining you will have to hang out with us for a bit - this could range from a week to a month or more depending on how active you appear, and if our concerns about your profile are alleviated by your activity.
Thanks

I'm trying my best. (specially looking for deals before I giveaway, and non-bundles for private/groups).
I am trying to get many non-bundled games to giveaway, but my friend is currently offline.
Perhaps in a few weeks or so, once my account gets more filled with non-bundled giveaways.

Sorry been very busy at work.
It's like I said before. It's not sheer number of nonbundle giveaways that you give. That's good an all but at the same time quality in small private groups matter. Quality - I mean will members of the group enter , do most not own this title , do a lot have it wishlisted. This is what I meant . You can review a few members profiles like mine , mallorn, Bigzgod to get an idea what we may be giving - I can also provide you a link to all successful giveaways with entry count and all failed giveaways to help

Ok, I'll do that next month since my current monthly gaming budget went into the negative.
So I'll buy one big non-bundle game, instead of 10x smaller non-bundle crap games (I'll still buy and give these away in addition anyways).
Like a $40-$60 game, as long as it is $15 or less.
I'm in no rush.
