Maybe software conflict? My Logitech software used to conflict with the Razer software, but once I installed an older version of the Logitech software as they said me, it practically stopped, in my case the button "Enter" was randomly triggering by itself when typing, maybe is your case too, or just Windows 8 drivers problems.

Uninstalled mouse driver and plug it, didn't work, installed older and latest drivers, didn't work. I don't know about software conflict, I never used mouse software until now (brought by latest driver), but the software didn't detect my mouse. Weird.

Allright, since today, my 2 additional mouse buttons act weird, they supposed to be MOUSE4 and MOUSE5, but now button 4 act for this and button 5 is for ALT+TAB feature.
I'm using Genius DX-7100, OS is Windows 8. Any help?
EDIT: They also supposed to act as forward and backward button on explorer.
