"Half-Life 3 confirmed" and "Summer Sale started!" threads aren't funny.

I saw this thread's title, cut off a bit, in the latest threads list, with the (Staff) indicator showing that it was something important, and for a moment I thought that Half-Life 3 had actually been confirmed. :<
