How come when I give away some games it doesn't show against my total tally?
I have given away over $300 worth of games but I am only seeing 187 for my account?

I understand that there is not such a big contribution value on bundle games, but i gawe away 7 games (one of them wasnt even a bundle game) and i didnt get ANY contribution value. Its still on 30. If its a new rule, then it sucks, because i buy bundles only because of 1-2 games, and with sg i have a use for them, and i will get something in return. even if its a small contr. value. but without getting any value, im just gonna activate those games without ever playing them.

They are games that has been in bundles before, and is therefor counted as bundle games no matter how you acquired the games, because SteamGifts has no way of knowing how you aqquired the games.

30 is the limit when you create only bundle giveaways

When you give away non-bundle games, they will unlock your bundled contribution. It doesn't matter Tori was from trade, SG has no way to check that so every game that appeared on budle list is treated like one.

... You should giveaway the extra/unwanted copies for the sake of giving away. The possible contribution value is a bonus.

If you bought the bundle for 1 or 2 games, then those games are worth to you what you paid for the bundle.
To you the others are freebies. Why should you gain contribution for a game that you paid essentially nothing for?

As others noted, this is most likely due to giving away games that appeared in bundles. Contributor value for them has been limited, even if you gave away tradeable/giftable copies, and not keys from actual bundles.

Steamgifts calculates based on Bundle value if you are doing a bundle or based upon discount value every 24/48hrs so. it may go up and down everyday. Not to worry.
