Cloud activation? You have to give your steam password and authentication code to a third party?

Yea, that seems sketchy. I'd rather have a steam key...

If what stfx2000 said is correct and you have to give them your Steam credentials, it's possible they sell cheap region locked chinese keys and then use VPN to activate them. I've seen a super shady key seller site that does that. If I remember the reviews from Trustpilot correctly apparently also for PUBG but that was a different site.

I guess it's the same delivery method that Sega used for the MWNL event in February.

I think legit publishers like Sega can do it via Steam API (not sure if that's the right term... same feature Humble used to have) without sharing your Steam credentials with them. Same thing like when you log in to SteamGifts.

Sounds like they login to your account using your steam credentials and then add a key that is zone restricted?

Not only is this a violation of Steam User Agreement, but a huge risk you might lose your Steam Account.

Mods should remove this post, very sketchy.
