So right now I'm using Spotify on my PC, but since it's not available in my country, I can't purchase premium and mobile sucks without premium. This makes me use Google Play Music on my phone (for convenience over constantly copying MP3s, I just upload them on the PC and they are always synced on the phone)
I'm thinking of using using a premium service, but I really don't know which one.
So, here are my choices:

  1. Spotify (but I can't use premium, so no mobile for it)
  2. Play Music All Access (the problem is that if I want to switch services, I can't see my playlists after subscription is over)
  3. Deezer (it's there, but it's not really anything special about it)
  4. Zonga (my carrier is giving me a premium plan every 6 months for 6 more months, like Whatsapp does, but the interfaces are horrible)
  5. Apple Music (welp, the family plan might be worth it, but I'm 99% sure the Android UI will look like xiuxihn's apps)

Also, Zonga gives me my full uncensored library (no other service has all my Korn songs, at least Play Music lets me add them by MP3)

Spotify (read the post if you want to vote this)
Play Music (about 6.5€/month)
Deezer (6.99€/month)
Zonga (2.99€, but it's mostly free)
Apple Music (VG7sK)

Google Play Music screwed up in my case completly. Whenever I clicked any music, it just played what it wanted. Clicking single music tracks was OK, but the following track could be anything- even stuff I never heard (and never wanted to hear) before.

Deezer is best IMO as the "Flow" Mode is very accurate, as it is cheap and as there are many ways to get some free months (Chromecast, Vodafone, TUI Flight ,...)

The problem here is that Vodafone gives free premium to Zonga here, and I'm on Vodafone. Deezer has a contract with another carrier, but not mine. And my theme song is not available on Zonga, lol.

I think the sad answer (right now) is none of them. I'm in the same boat. Piracy is put to the curb when a service comes along that can offer more accessibility and features for a low enough price to be attractive. Like Netflix for movies/tv and Steam for games. The music business doesn't have one yet. I'm optimistic though, with both Tidal and Apple Music recently announced it's clear the industry is slowly reaching for it. None of them currently do the job, but it's progress...

Spotify does the job for me on the PC. I don't even hear ads anymore, there are only a couple days every 2-3 months when there are ads playing, but on the rest of the time, there are not. The problem is that none of them can do a good job at a good Android AND iOS app (all music apps except Google Play Music are so clumsy to use, but that is not available on iOS, for example).
Tidal is way too expensive in my opinion, and Apple Music brings nothing new to the table, except the possibility of an Android app and that really awesome family plan.

It sucks Spotify is not available in Romania. It's definitely the best music service out there IMO. I hope they'll introduce it to your country soon.

Well, since it's on the top, it can only get worse, and that's a problem. I used it A LOT less since it got that new metro-ish update... Pressing X to completely close an app that runs on the background 99% of the time is like making it a web app...
YES, I LIKE PRESSING X ON MY PROGRAMS BECAUSE THE ANIMATION IS A LOT SHORTER AND LESS INTRUSIVE THAN THE --. Ironically, I always press home on my phone for the exact same reason...
