Anyone watching The Game Award?
I'm watching it right now. Great set of games revealed. Some nice Indie games were thrown in there too! Exciting stuff

I could have sworn I saw a really quick snippet of botw 2 when they were showing stuff like Pokemon Arceus etc. Though to be honest, the text on the clip was something like "the sequel to Zelda Breath of the Wild" rather than "Breath of the Wild 2" specifically

it was there and it was put as a candidate for an award but it was nothing new on the game not even a full title :(

Was working, so wasn't able to watch it. Missed out on some in-game goodies for Raid: Shadow Legends, but doesn't look like I missed anything else of note.

Didn't watch the actual live stream, but did caught up with the trailers on Youtube. Overall, it was interesting with some new surprises (to me, at least). Diggin most of the indie games shown especially Planet of Lana. Most of the bigger games peaked my interest too especially Suicide Squad & Horizon which look so fun to play.
Surprised by the GOTY winner too but in a good way. Haven't played It Takes Two, but I have seen how extremely positive the Steam reviews are. Must be a great game to many people.

Cheaper than Playstation version and INTERmission + Yuffie and DLCs are incl.

A PC game should not cost more than 60€. I don't care about DLC. If I want those, I'll buy them seperately. If (if!) they are worth the extra 20€, why should I be forced to buy them? Isnt' that usually my decision to make?

The price "problem" can be fixed very fast.
The solution. Just wait.
Games are so cheap, within a very short period of time.

That goes for every game, no matter the initial release price, thus not being a solution to the problem at all.

tbf, most triple A devs have been wanting to got $10 more expensive on new games(going from $60 on release to $70). Find it strange that Square Enix was the one to start it. Hopefully the FF PC fans actually decide to boycott anything Square Enix until they lower the price(but knowing how FF 14 players think too highly of the Square that they won't ever give away their ability to utilize free codes, I doubt it'll be super effective)

Didn't Microsoft already start it with their own store prices of 70€? At least their titles are usually at 60€ on Steam. With FF7 we won't have a choice (other than not to buy it).

Haven't paid much attention to the microsoft store, but its true in the end that FF7 will be the 1st to truly require pc players to pay the 70 euros if they want to legally get it. Do wish older games would actually go down in price (looking at sims 3 on steam as an example)

But Epic exclusive, like Kingdom Hearts. I'll wait for a Steam release.^^

Right, but if it were Steam exclusive nobody would complain. :/

I understand the problem...Epic is cancer for many people.

Like Steam was when it started. People hated it, and Valve just forced themselves onto them by making their games excusive to the platform. In a few years the same people that boycott Epic now, probably won't have any problem with it anymore and just buy games there, as they do now on Steam. I personally think that's a good development.
