I game with a laptop since always. The only pain is to undust it often. For the rest, Im fine with it. Ofc since you cant upgrade it, i guess you know that you need to buy a very high spec one, or it will get outdated fast. Good luck on your purchase :)

If your choice is limited to brand laptops during black friday the only advice I can give you now (I'm kinda out of the loop) is: avoid Lenovo.
Or, you could look into websites who sell customized laptop builds, there are a few in the UK, like this: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/build-your-own-laptop/

I have this one , quite happy with it.
http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y50/
I paid mine around 1050e
Specs are next
4th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-4700HQ (2.40GHz 1600MHz 6MB)
NVIDIA® GTX-860M 4GB (Maxwell)
1TB Hybrid SSHD with integrated 8 GB NAND flash
12GB PC3-12800 DDR3L SDRAM 1600 MHz
Only mana is that theres not enough place to integrate 1 more hard drive into it and lack of optical drive (but who uses those today?)

I was studying abroad and needed to move around a lot back in 2011, bought myself a gaming laptop and it's been my best purchase. I got the Asus G74SX, still holding strong and still holds up to newer titles even if on med settings. I am going to upgrade to a desktop soon but will definitely hang onto this laptop cause it's been a trooper. Not up to date on their current prices but I would definitely recommend ASUS http://www.asus.com/ca-en/site/g-series/.

As you know, Black Friday is coming close and I'm planning on buying a new laptop. My budget limitation is £1000, so pretty much I could buy a high end laptop. I also prefer a laptop with a touch screen for some strategy games. Also any shops I should look into in Glasgow in particular during Black Friday.
UPDATE: Also I don't want a laptop with bigger than 16 inch, otherwise it won't fit in my bag but also needs to have numeric keypad ^^
