I just bought the Samsung Galaxy S3 and its amazing, you should save up to buy one. Or get the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2 when it comes out. Or buy the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (A bit cheaper than the S3)
If you live in Ireland I can sell you my LG Optimus One

Xperias are good IMO I've got an Arc S and works quite well. And the new one, Maybe P or U
I don't know a lot about phones I admit it so don't take me too seriously.

Nokia Lumia, if you have nothing against this new metro design. WP7 is a much more responsive OS than Android.

I thought WP8 will be backward compatible. Oh well -,-

Remember - smartphones have only 500 charging cycles.

Wut? So that means that after a year and ahalf I'll have to buy a new battery?
Why didn't anybody tell me this before! Crappy programmed obsolescence.
And yes, all this to say I charge my phone everyday.

My battery is on a verge of death right now.
I still don't know what to do with it.
Every half a year new battery? :|
Och... F*ck you life in the world of for-profit only.

Hint #1: Don't buy cheap batteries. You get what you pay for.
Hint #2: Batteries start to die the moment they are manufactured. AGE is one of the most important factors in battery life. If it's on sale, it's probably old.
Hint #3: Batteries age differently depending on charge. THEY AGE FASTER AT FULL AND EMPTY. If you're going to store a battery, charge it about halfway.
Hint #3b: Batteries age differently depending on temperature. Don't leave batteries in your car where they can get hot. Leave them in a COOL DRY PLACE. Don't store them in your freezer. That is not a DRY place! (Plus a discharged battery can actually freeze and suffer damage in the freezer)
Hint #4: Cheap devices are cheap. Again, you get what you pay for. On a cheap device, if you are plugged in and using your device, it is both charging and discharging your battery. THIS IS BAD. DON'T DO THIS. Either don't use it when it's plugged in, or don't buy cheap devices in the first place.
Hint #5: Even on fancy devices, they are often set up to recharge at any point if plugged in. Meaning, if you leave it plugged in, the device will naturally discharge, and then charge. THIS CONSUMES CYCLES. DON'T DO THIS.
My laptop and phone batteries still work great after years and years. Treat them right and they will treat you right. If you're having to buy new batteries after half a year, you're definitely doing something very wrong.

All batteries for smartphone are made in the same place.
Just selling for many companies.
They have the same values and the same number of charging cycles set inside their counting system - just to make you dependent of continuous buying new batteries - everything is about the money - deal with it.

Where did you get this number? Why would smartphone batteries have fewer cycles than other batteries (800+)? It doesn't make any sense.
My 3Gs still lasts days on a full charge, and that's after many years. I plug it in almost every night (if I remember; sometimes I miss a day). It has definitely been charged and discharged more than 500 times.

I had Lumia 710 for 2 months and now just hate WP. The OS is the worst piece of software I've ever seen. Poor customisation, from other side very unintuitive interface and many, many limitations. Even changing the ringtone is complicated and requires the use of computer with installed special program. If you had some Andoid phone before, beware, it's totally different story.
Also, old Lumias won't get an upgrade to W8, so buying them now isn't a smart move.

I dont really knonw the price of these phones, but i currently have a Samsung Galaxy SII and it is completly perfect. If you can afford it, dont think it twice and buy it.

I love it how people suggest S3 that is twice the price and size of those four phones.
Anyway, those three droids all have slow CPUs so they will lag, maybe not always but you will notice it. Forget about most recent games as well.
Lumia 610 is great, WP7.5 is an awesome system if you know what you're buying, don't expect alot of customization and many web pages don't offer specialized mobile app (Steam has iOS and Android app only, same goes for HBO Go and many more). If you want to listen to music and browse web I'd go with Nokia, for gaming all of those won't cut it.
If I were you I'd save some money for Xperia U or Sola (they are not much more expensive than those three droids but much better) or wait another month for WP8 to be released and go with entry level WP8 device.
